aaaah…I guess playtime is over huh?  Time to get down to business, because you MOniacs are crazy for a reason….and I can not keep you waiting.  Since, I’ve been home, the most asked question has been, “so Mone’t, what’s next?”  Well, this record is next on my agenda.  I can’t wait any longer myself.  As a Virgo, and self-proclaimed “perfectionist”, it has to be done right though.  That’s been my biggest hold up.  But I know, God will not lead me down the wrong path, therefore, the right, management, agent, and situation will come along, so that I can give YOU my MOniacs, the best of me….let’s see, what else..OH! As you can see above, the Mone’t tee’s are finally finished…this one above is one of 3 shirts that I will have available by my b-day…September 1…I should be getting the sample of the “I’m A MOniac!” shirt next week…I will of course post it so you can see….hmmm, FINALLY, 3 amazing photo shoots coming in August….get ready cause the glam squad on these shoots should be amazing…which will finally launch the official…Ms. Mone’t website….meaning, after Sept 1 when you enter MSMONET.COM… you will enter in the world of monificence!!!! I’m sooo excited about it all….again, I thank you for your continued support through out this journey….

MOniacs!!!!!

Hoping your summers are hot and you’re staying cool!!! I’m adjusting to being back at home after 6 weeks of up and down, back and forth…but I wouldn’t change it for nothing in the world….our last show was in Charleston, SC, and it was a way to go! It was hot, and the crowd was hotter!  We had a ball that night, and after, we all sat and said, WELL DONE!  I’m going to miss my band brothers, but we all have things to do , things that will move us to the next level of bringing you great, positive music of integrity, and love to all of our followers and fans!  I’m taking this week off to just as I say, “un-Mone’t” myself, and enjoy being in the confines of my home.  I missed my house!  But there is work to be done.  I got to get back out there to YOU my MOniacs!!!!!

Wow, how time flies when you’re having fun…can you believe this is the last week of shows?  You guys have made this tour one of the most memorable ones I’ve experienced….the many MOniacs that have come on board, I thank you for your continued well wishes, and look forward to giving you the best of Mo that I can give…..TEAM MSMO has started, and I ask that you all continue to spread the word about the “girl” you’ve heard… this week there’s Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Georgia…..then home….there’s much work to be done….MOniacs you ready???

MOniacs!!!!!!! So much is happening everyday…and I promise to do a full run down of this past weeks shows, and oh’s!!!!!! But I wanted to wish you all a pleasant and safe holiday!!!!!!

Can I say this tour has been one of the best I’ve experienced in a while….don’t get me wrong, every tour I’ve ever done has been a blast, but this one has allowed me to be more personable to the people and really get to know who they are….I truly thank God for those that I have met, and everyone is very dear to me….Our first show after leaving Canada was in Syracuse, NY…and it was a very hot show!…Not only did they declare that day to be Boz Scaggs day, but I was able to meet the legendary Gil Scott Herron who was just a fun and very genuine man….the crowd was all party that night, and in the end…it was another magical moment…after leaving there, we went to Hampton Beach, New Hampshire….now, we’ve played here several times, and EVERY time is a good time and a very HOT time…I was told it was about 90 degrees inside add on about 10 more for me under lights…I was melting away, but it didn’t stop the fire that we gave to the crowd! It’s always a pleasure Hampton Beach…right now, I’m finally relaxing in Burlington, Vermont…a very quaint town I must say….okay enough, I’m supposed to be relaxing right??

Montreal Jazzfest 2010

MOniacs!!!

Wow what I time we’ve had here in Canada so far…the people, the shows the food…all have been wonderful…big thanks to the people of Richmond, Calgary, Edmonton, and next, Montreal…We arrived yesterday to beautiful weather, and talks of a 5.5 earthquake! Big thanks to the MOniacs that sent well wishes of safety during our travels…We appreciate you and again, thank you!  I tried to get out today and do some site-seeing…and of course SHOPPING!!!! Just to find out that today is a national holiday, and all retail was closed! Bummer, all on my off day….well, all I can do now is just chillax and enjoy the serenity of my hotel room! lol!  But tomorrow is a new day..there will be sooo much music here…Herbie Hancock, Manhattan Transfer, Gil Scott Herron, and the list goes on and on!!!!! Yes, it’s officially festival time….

Hey MOniacs….

The last couple of days have been very trying due to cold weather, but we’re still killing with the shows…it makes me want to take time out and say THANK YOU for coming out to support us on this tour.  I’ve received so many well-wishes, and good vibes and it’s sooo wonderful to know that friends like you make it all worthwhile…Tonight we do our last show on the west coast, then we’re up to Canada. As we journey up…please keep us in your prayers…you know I will keep you updated, and post pics….I love you all….

Hey MOniacs!!!!!

Can you believe it’s been a week of the tour and sooo much has happened!  Since I last wrote…we went and rocked the socks off of LA! And some kinda shows those were….with the fab, Michael Bearden  who played with our Boz band in 2008 and left us to MD for Michael Jackson, playing on keys that night, to the amazing David Paich of Toto sitting in on the hits he penned with Boz, it couldn’t have gotten any better.  It was hot and humid in there, but the crowd didn’t mind….they gave up the love and we gave the love back…..then came the birthday show in Anaheim….from the time he hit the stage…they started in on him with the birthday song….and we as a band had it in for him as well…we did our impromptu version of the bday song, along with party favors…he was floored!!!!!! After, this we came on home to the Bay Area….and rocked Saratoga for two shows….though it was quite cool up on the hill at Montalvo, the fans didn’t disappoint, and we came to give a show….it was good to see many familiar faces, as well as new ones….tonight, we’re still up in the Bay, with a sold out show in Brooks at Cache Creek….we’ll see what happens…it’s gonna be fun!!!!!!
