aaaah…I guess playtime is over huh? Time to get down to business, because you MOniacs are crazy for a reason….and I can not keep you waiting. Since, I’ve been home, the most asked question has been, “so Mone’t, what’s next?” Well, this record is next on my agenda. I can’t wait any longer myself. As a Virgo, and self-proclaimed “perfectionist”, it has to be done right though. That’s been my biggest hold up. But I know, God will not lead me down the wrong path, therefore, the right, management, agent, and situation will come along, so that I can give YOU my MOniacs, the best of me….let’s see, what else..OH! As you can see above, the Mone’t tee’s are finally finished…this one above is one of 3 shirts that I will have available by my b-day…September 1…I should be getting the sample of the “I’m A MOniac!” shirt next week…I will of course post it so you can see….hmmm, FINALLY, 3 amazing photo shoots coming in August….get ready cause the glam squad on these shoots should be amazing…which will finally launch the official…Ms. Mone’t website….meaning, after Sept 1 when you enter MSMONET.COM… you will enter in the world of monificence!!!! I’m sooo excited about it all….again, I thank you for your continued support through out this journey….

What’s up Mo! You will never begin to understand how excited and overjoyed I am right now! My birth name is Jimmy and I too am a singer/songwriter. i love to cook and draw as well and I study martial arts. You probably will not remember since it’s been so long but I met you in oakland when i had come up from Los Angeles. If I am not mistaken, you were coming from Pittsburg, CA with a friend of yours name wakeem. We met at a hotel where this older black lady was holding auditions for a play she was doing. We sat and talked about how I was from Missouri and how you were from the bay and how we both had nearly 6 octave singing voices. We really clicked when we started talking about music and “real” singers and how we both agreed that Rachelle Ferrell was the best vocalist to ever live and we were both amazed at how familiar we both were with her music but how she seemed to be under the radar. Remember this was 1996 or 1997. We got up and read together and then we sung the duet “If This World Were Mine” together and blew everybodie’s minds. We exchanged info and then you gave me a copy of your cd “Mood Swings”. For some reason we never got in contact with each other. Anyway, i took that cd home and simply fell in love with it! My favorite songs were “Melody”, and “Please don’t walk away”. i let a friend borrow it and someone stole it from him and I was so pissed. for years I’ve been trying to find your cd and I’ve put every possible spelling of your name in every search engine possible. I’ve been telling people for years that there was this sister that none of these girls could even come close too but since I did not have your cd to prove it. No one believed me. i put your name in again and imagine my uncontrollable excitement and nervousness when this website popped up. I was praying to Allah please let this be her. i called all of my friends and told them that once I buy a new copy of your cd that it was on because they would be able to witness real singing and quit thinking I’ve been talking about this phantom monet all of these years. i do not care what your cds cost i want to buy Mood swings and any other music you have. as a true singer’s singer myself I respect real singers and real music. i don’t care if the cds cost $100.00 or more each! Well hello!!!!!
I can vaguely remember all of this but, you’ve done an excellent job in helping me to remeber. I guess once I see a photo of you it’ll all come back…I appreciate your support of “Moodswings”…it’s amazing what that CD even though it only was known locally, how people still come back to that CD. As I start works on the new music I’m going to re-release “Moodswings”…so please look out for it in the near future. I also have to say thank you for your very kind words regarding me as a vocalist! I still think Ms. Rachelle is on of the best, and I still work on improving this 5 1/2 octave range that I have….everyday is a new and exciting challenge for me…yet, I find nothing but grace and growth in it all…please stay in contact here…or on Facebook, not sure if you’ve checked out the fan page over there….it’s pretty fly….
