This past Thursday I was asked by Toto founder, David Paich to perform with him for the kick-off of the ASCAP “We Create Music” Expo on their Legends “center stage” session!  Wow, what a time I had!  Singing on stage with the Go-Go’s, Dan Felder of the Eagles, Allan Shamblin and David, along with Robin DiMaggio on percussion, we all one by one set the stage on fire.  Each artist spoke about the inspiration behind their legendary and timeless hits, then performed them.  I with David, got to sing Georgy Porgy, Africa, and To Be Real…it was truly an amazing night of music, and I was honored to be a part!

Today we lost a legend beyond words…the amazing Ms. Etta James passed away at the age of 73.  As she now has her wings to fly, may her heart-felt music continue to fill our hearts with the memories of real love…the good, and the bad…
